Endless-life missile-type magnetic separator

A high-density safety unit for removing any ferromagnetic (iron-based) foreign matter that may enter the flow of bulk raw material in dust, granular and grain form. By means of its aerodynamic structure integrated directly into the flow line, it safeguards product quality and reliably protects the precision machines on the line from metal-particle damage.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Raw-material mass reception into the separator cell — aerodynamic line flow: the flour, semolina or grain mass arriving from the piping diagram enters through the pipe magnet’s cylindrical stainless body; the product flow is directed linearly toward the missile-shaped core positioned at the centre. Natural neodymium field and high attraction frequency — missile-type magnetic capture: the flowing raw material passes around the high-density missile-shaped magnetic core; meanwhile even the smallest iron dust, nails, wire pieces and even round steel balls scattered from bearings are drawn by the high gauss force and trapped on the core surface. Ferromagnetic-free conveying — uninterrupted clean flow: the clean product, 100% cleared of metals, is safely conveyed from the separator’s lower outlet flange to the next process stages without losing flow speed or rate.

KEY ADVANTAGES

- Endless-life natural magnetic-core technology: At the centre of the tubular body, a missile-shaped magnetic system is mounted on the cover by a special engineering application; this core, made of fully natural-origin high-quality magnets, always preserves its first-day attraction force with an endless operational life and no energy consumption.

- Micronised-iron and bearing-ball filtration: Thanks to the advanced high magnetic-flux density, it easily captures and retains not only coarse metal parts but also the micronised iron dust hard to see with the eye and the in-bearing steel balls that could cause machine breakdowns.

- Stainless-steel body design: The product’s outer body and walls are made 100% of AISI 304 stainless steel; this smooth-surface design fully complies with food-sanitation standards and removes corrosion and wear risks.

- Fast, easy cover-cleaning integration: To periodically remove the captured metals, the magnet body is mounted on the cover; with the practical opening of the hinged cover the missile core comes out and the accumulated metal waste is easily cleaned within seconds.

- Process-diagram industrial variations: Depending on the plant’s hourly capacity and pipe-diameter sizes (gravity or pneumatic line character), it is custom-made in different sizes, types and models.

ENGINEERING NOTE

The pipe magnet is an invisible safeguard station certifying food safety (HACCP) and protecting the mechanical-equipment investment in flour and semolina mills. Its aerodynamic missile design reliably prevents the material from snagging, piling up or losing pressure in the pipeline. The rigid mounting of the magnet blocks on the stainless cover keeps the operator’s line-downtime during cleaning to a minimum, while the high gauss strength permanently removes the ferromagnetic risks on flour passages.
