Homogeneous seed-coating and protection station with liquid-recirculation kinematics

A highly stable liquid-treatment and application system for seed production, processing and certification facilities: designed to raise the pre-sowing biological resistance of bulk seed products of the cereal family — above all wheat, maize, barley and the like. By injecting onto the seed surface, through atomising nozzles, a pre-prepared mixture of liquid chemical agents (fungicides, insecticides, etc.), it ensures the product is 100% protected from soil and storage pests and from fungal diseases.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Continuous mixing and centrifugal-recirculation regime — chemical-liquid preparation and circulation: the pre-formulated chemical-agent mixture is filled into the stainless liquid tank; the industrial centrifugal motors integrated into the tank system continuously circulate (recirculate) the liquid in the tank, preventing the active ingredients from settling and maintaining a constantly homogeneous liquid phase. High-pressure spray-nozzle application — fine-spray liquid injection: as the seed products pass through the diagram’s flow lines and mixer units, the special spray nozzles fed by the centrifugal-pump pressure engage; the treated mixture is atomised onto the flowing seed mass with high precision. Mechanical blending and full biological protection — homogeneous surface coating: while the seeds are mixed on their own axis by the treatment pipe or in-machine paddles, the sprayed liquid agent coats the outer surface of each kernel as a uniform film layer; the treated seeds are conveyed to the packaging line without loss.

KEY ADVANTAGES

- Maximum operational life via anti-corrosion stainless material: Against the abrasive and corrosive effects of the liquid chemical agents, all liquid tanks are made of high-grade stainless steel; this metallurgical base resists acidic and basic chemicals excellently, giving the system a very long service life.

- Centrifugal-motor forced-recirculation technology: To prevent the heavy chemical agents in dust or liquid phase from settling to the tank bottom and undergoing phase separation, a smart recirculation system is applied; the high-flow centrifugal motors keep the liquid in constant motion and guarantee an equal agent concentration on every spray cycle.

- Uniform curtain via atomising nozzles: The special spray nozzles at the application point spray the agent not as droplets but by the misting method — as a fine-mist curtain; this technology reliably prevents both the over-wetting of the seeds (rotting) and their being left unprotected by under-treatment.

- Full integration with seed-mixing mechanisms: The system has modular mounting flexibility, easily adapting onto the various mixer screws or application drums of seed-cleaning, grading and conveying lines.

ENGINEERING NOTE

The seed-treatment tank and application system is the most reliable mechanical formula for achieving high germination yield and maximum product protection in the agricultural-raw-material industry. The centrifugal-motor recirculation kinematics in the tank keeps the agent’s viscosity index stable and reduces the nozzle-clogging risk to zero. The precise flow setting of this atomisation regime, applied while the seed is mechanically mixed, optimises only the outer-skin protection (the fungus and pest barrier) without damaging the kernel’s embryo structure.
