MEDIUM PRESSURE ASPIRATOR
(V-BELT DRIVEN)

High-flow central-suction unit with V-belt drive and monoblock cast bearings

A high-performance fluid machine designed for a wide range of industrial tasks in flour, semolina, pulse and feed mills — above all for cleaning grain of foreign matter, grading, surface treatment and aerodynamic quality separation (aspiration channels, separators and separator suctions). With its advanced blade geometry and stable aerodynamics in the medium-pressure regime, it provides the uninterrupted air-suction or pressure power needed plant-wide at the highest energy efficiency.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Process-line negative-pressure reception — aerodynamic suction and collection: the dusty, lightwaste air stream leaving the cleaning, grading or classification machines is drawn into the stable negative-pressure zone created by the aspirator and pulled to the inlet flange. Flow- and pressurefocused impeller (rotor) kinematics — centrifugal dynamic acceleration: the dynamically balanced high-strength impeller flings the fluid toward the scroll body wall by centrifugal force; the specific flow (m³/h) and static pressure (Pa) values calculated for the process diagram give the stream a high linear acceleration. Positive-pressure discharge and dust exhaust — filter and stack conveying infrastructure: the accelerated air-dust mixture is discharged at positive pressure from the outlet and safely conveyed to dust cyclones or jet-pulse bag filters for final cleaning and dust capture.

KEY ADVANTAGES

• Wide application and use industries. By being made in a great variety of industrial types and sizes, it covers an extremely wide application spectrum — from plant-wide dust-extraction systems to local pre-cleaning lines.

• “Dual-Drive” flexible drive (V-belt). To suit the plant layout and target speed regimes, it is produced in a V-belt drive configuration: a flexible structure with a heavy-duty bearing block, allowing speed and flow to be modified for changing plant-diagram conditions.

• “Multi-Angle” adjustable body geometry. For full fit to the piping diagram and the physical constraints of the mounting area, scroll bodies that can be mounted at different discharge angles are available; application-specific manufacture is possible.

• Motor and body calibration. It can be configured with many types, models and electric-motor options to suit the use-location characteristics, the plant’s processing-capacity density and the dust load of the air conveyed.

ENGINEERING NOTE

The medium-pressure aspirator is the invisible engineering parameter directly determining sieving and cleaning quality in flour and semolina processes. Especially on the machines where air grades the product by specific gravity (separators, aspirators, aspiration channels), the stability of the flow and pressure values the fan produces is vital. The rotor, optimised to fluid-mechanics criteria, prevents static-pressure breakdowns during grid fluctuations or sudden aerodynamic-resistance changes and always preserves the plant’s aspiration balance
