Steel-hinged, vibration-driven flow-stabilisation station
A high-performance flow-control unit for the uninterrupted, uniform and stable discharge of bulk materials (wheat, flour, bran, etc.) from the bag-filter hoppers and the free-flow raw-material and finished-product silos of flour, semolina and feed mills — without the risk of bridging, sticking or rat-holing. By giving the lower-cone outlet geometry a dynamic structure, it feeds tube screws, screw conveyors or conveyor lines regularly and at full capacity.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Monoblock cell reception — sub-silo integration: active discharge bottom is easily flange-mounted to the lower conical outlets of both industrial reinforced-concrete silos and modular steel silos; the raw-material mass from the silo settles straight into the device’s vibration dish. Heavy-duty steel-hinge bearing and vibro-motor — fluidising vibration frequency: the integrated high-efficiency vibro-motor produces controlled circular vibrations; the movable lower dish, connected to the main body by high-strength steel hinges and sealed elastic gaskets, spreads this frequency deep into the raw-material mass in the silo. Uniform flow and conveyor feeding — clog-free stable discharge: under the vibration waves, the granular structure of grain, flour or bran loosens, the molecular compaction is released, and the product fluidises in the gravity direction; sifting down as a regular curtain, the material is discharged without interruption to the tube screw or conveyor below.
KEY ADVANTAGES
- Definitive solution to bridging and rat-holing: It reliably prevents the silo blockage of difficult powder products with high moisture, oiliness and a tendency to cohere (stick), such as flour and bran; it fully eliminates raw-material flow stoppages in the plant.
- Heavy-duty steel-hinge technology: The bearing system that fixes the dynamic lower dish to the main body is made with special steel hinges resistant to high mechanical stresses and vertical mass pressure; versus standard suspension elements it reduces the risk of wear and breakage to zero.
- Universal fit to concrete and steel silos: With a flexible mounting flange and modular frame, it adapts within seconds beneath the cone of any existing or new reinforced-concrete or steel silo without modification.
- Full AISI 304 stainless-steel variant: Per the process’s food-safety and sanitation criteria, it can be made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel for aggressive environments or chemically sensitive product lines; models for different capacity densities are available.
ENGINEERING NOTE
active discharge bottom (conical discharger) is the most stable mechanical solution ensuring full application of the FIFO (“first in, first out”) logistics principle in the flour and feed industries. The vibro-motor frequency breaks the static-pressure cone inside the silo and makes the material descend not only from the centre but across the whole silo cross-section in a homogeneous, vertical mass movement. This kinematic balance permanently prevents flour staling, mould and clumping on the silo’s inner walls.
