A high-technology solution for the precise control of the water volume added during grain tempering — one of the most critical stages for milling technique and grist stability. It works in full integration with intensive dampeners of all types and is easily retrofitted to existing lines.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Precise flow-control integration (dynamic tracking): the unit connects to the flow-control point on the main grain line and digitally tracks instantaneous capacity and flow-rate fluctuations within microseconds. Multi-parameter analysis & smart decision (PLC algorithm): the refined PLC analyses the flow data and, with readings from several moisture and hectolitre sensors, computes the ideal water volume flawlessly. Millimetric water injection (servo valve): on the PLC’s digital command a high-precision servo valve automatically narrows or widens the supply; an electronic flow meter continuously logs the instantaneous flow and total water consumed.

ENGINEERING NOTE

Manual valves cannot keep up with instantaneous changes in grain flow, so the grain is either under-tempered or over-moistened and smears the rolls. The automatic unit keeps the water per kernel constant at any capacity, guaranteeing flour-quality stability and yield.
