Refined compression-and-scouring dampening system
A high-performance conditioning (tempering) station for homogeneously moistening all grain types — wheat and maize above all — before milling. Through special rotor paddles and a hydraulic-compression logic, it guarantees water penetration into the kernel over the shortest path and with the highest stability.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Mains-water integration — simultaneous inlet: the grain mass to be processed and the mains water are introduced into the system simultaneously and in a controlled way through the machine’s inlet section. Braking rotor-paddle technology — intensive compression and scouring: fast-rotating rotor paddles intensively press and scour the grain-water mixture against the body wall; the paddles are designed in a special geometry so that, while dragging the product toward the outlet, they also brake (delay) it in a controlled manner, exposing the grain to maximum mechanical friction over the shortest possible path and moistening it evenly. Belt-and-pulley system and flexible mounting — safe discharge and drive: the product reaching the ideal moisture level is conveyed to the outlet, while the system takes its power from a V-belt pulley mechanism; the ability to change pulleys lets the target rotor speed (rpm) be calibrated easily to the type of product being processed.
KEY ADVANTAGES
• Infinite-life independent bearing design: The homogeniser rotor is mounted on pedestal bearings supported on bearing blocks; since the rotor bearings are designed entirely outside the body, they never contact product or water — preventing bearing failures and offering maximum component life.
• All-stainless-steel construction: All surfaces, paddles and the body liner in the zone of intensive water circulation and aggressive scouring friction are made of high-grade stainless steel; fully compliant with food-safety standards (HACCP).
• Ergonomic, flexible motor placement: The machine’s main motor has a modular layout: it can be mounted to the right, left or underneath the body to suit your plant layout and tight-space designs.
• Digital automation options: Integrable digital flow meter for precise monitoring of instantaneous water use; thermal conditioning with the infrastructure to inject both cold and hot water; fully automatic moisture control — a system that measures the grain’s inlet moisture and manages the water valve hands-free to the targeted final moisture.
ENGINEERING NOTE
The heart of the homogeniser is its special “braking” paddle geometry. This technology optimises the wheat’s or maize’s residence time in the machine to the millisecond, preventing water from lingering on the kernel’s skin and ensuring it spreads homogeneously straight into the cell structure.
