Aerodynamic precision separation station with conical distributor

A high-efficiency cleaning unit of circular design for the aerodynamic removal of dust, husk, stalk, straw and light hollow foreign matter from pre-cleaned grain (wheat, maize, barley, etc.). Its circular body, optimised to fluid-mechanics principles, delivers maximum purification at minimum energy consumption even on the most difficult grists.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Controlled feed — angled inlet: the grain mass is delivered to the centre of the circular channel through an inlet pipe set at a special angle to make best use of gravitational acceleration. Rotating conical distributor — 360° homogeneous curtain: grain pouring from the pipe lands on a central rotating distributor with a conical surface, which sprays it evenly as a continuous “circular grain curtain” around the full 360° of the body wall. Reverse intensive filtration — aerodynamic counter-flow: a strong, homogeneous air stream is passed bottom-to-top through the descending circular grain curtain; heavy, sound kernels reach the lower outlet undisturbed, while dust, husk and straw are carried into the upper aspiration line.

KEY ADVANTAGES

• Micrometric calibration (mechanical adjustment): The gap between the rotating distributor and the body wall is easily narrowed or widened by a dedicated adjustment mechanism, so the curtain thickness and air gap can be set precisely to the type and size of the product.

• Maximum efficiency, minimum energy use: The aerodynamic circular body prevents turbulence in the air stream and creates a continuous, linear suction force, enabling cleaning at high capacity with far lower fan power than classic square aspiration channels.

• Flawless 360° cleaning: The circular curtaining created by the conical distributor completely eliminates the air-starved “blind spots”, letting air penetrate every kernel evenly and pushing the de-dusting index to its peak.

ENGINEERING NOTE

The circular aspiration channel is an excellent engineering solution for final protection ahead of roller-mill lines or for first cleaning on silo intake lines. The mechanical gap adjustment of the conical distributor gives the operator the flexibility to keep air-grain contact precision stable even as product throughput changes — which is what cleaning stability means.
