Precise volumetric dosing and blending station
A reliable dosing system for forming the correct wheat combination (grist) — the basic condition for standard, high-quality end product. It blends wheat varieties of different quality, protein and hardness at the targeted recipe ratios with fine precision, feeding the system continuously and steadily.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Direct, uninterrupted feed — under-silo integration: the unit mounts directly onto the lower outlet cones of raw or grist silos and receives the gravity-fed wheats of differing character at its inlet hopper. Percentage slide mechanism — precise recipe setting: before tempering and milling, dedicated slides bearing a dosing-percentage scale are set manually, clearly fixing the amount of product flowing from each silo into the main collecting line. Integrated by-pass — safe process management: on any fault, blockage or emergency, the integrated by-pass engages, keeping product flowing and safeguarding the plant’s uninterrupted operation.
KEY ADVANTAGES
• Flexible hybrid control: As standard the system is managed manually with precise mechanical slides, and on request it can be converted to fully automatic (PLC) control: all grist ratios are set digitally from a single point — computer or SCADA screen — hands-free.
• Uninterrupted-diagram assurance: Advanced mechanics and integrated by-pass flaps prevent production from stopping even during maintenance or a fault.
• Modular sizes and capacities: Different industrial models and sizes are available to suit the plant’s hourly break capacity, silo outlet diameters and the variety of products to be blended.
ENGINEERING NOTE
The grist blending unit is the most critical control point that turns a modern mill’s laboratory data into commercial success. Owing to volumetric dosing stability, it holds the share of product flowing into the main line constant even as the silo grain level (hydrostatic pressure) changes — meaning sustainable flour-quality stability.
