Energy-Free Mechanical Density & Velocity Separator

An innovative mechanical separator that works purely on physical laws and kinematics, requiring no electrical energy. Thanks to its special internal ‘snail’ geometry, it separates matter of differing specific gravity and surface friction by centrifugal force with high precision.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Precise inlet-gate setting (controlled feed): grain lifted onto the machine by screw or elevator is metered by the integrated inlet gate at the optimal feed rate and introduced vertically into the system. Spiral chutes and velocity-based separation (centrifugal effect): the product sliding down the spiral chutes gains speed under gravity; in this circular flow the kernels, depending on specific gravity, shape and friction coefficient, experience different centrifugal forces and are thrown onto different trajectories. Adjustable guide outlets (multi-line classification): at the end of the chute the velocity-separated products are routed to different lines at the required purity via precisely adjustable guide blades (gates).
